IGEN Launches First-Ever Vehicle Centric Driver Scorecard as Part of Next Generation Automotive IoT Platform

Murrieta, CA – October 29, 2018 – IGEN Networks Corporation (OTCQB: IGEN, CSE: IGN), a leading innovator of cloud-based and Internet of Things (IoT) automotive solutions for the protection and management of mobile assets, today announced the launch of the first-ever vehicle centric driver scorecard as part of IGEN’s Next Generation IoT Platform. The new scorecard and platform will be launched at SEMA 2018, the premier automotive specialty products trade event held annually at the Las Vegas Convention Center, drawing the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place.

Our coding methodology and user interface are state-of-the-art, leveraging Facebook and Google design techniques to present the best mobile interface experience for our customers. As part of this upgrade, we have included a new cloud-based platform optimized for ease of connectivity with third-party applications, creating an extensive eco-system of compelling services.”

In addition to new user features, we also bolstered the back-end application with management tools to support rapid growth across multiple end markets. This includes complete integration with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) that now provide IGEN products for sale through Financing and Insurance channels at more than 9,000 dealerships across the US.

The IGEN Driver Score Card is a dramatic leap forward in driver analytics compared with smart-phone based hardware currently used in the insurance industry that captures limited data metrics. Additionally, by putting the IGEN Driver Score Card in the consumer’s hands, drivers are incentivized to improve their performance behind the wheel and become the best drivers they can be.”
